About Me:

I am a retired Commander of the California Highway Patrol with a distinguished career which includes service in the U.S. Navy. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of teaching various leadership classes to personnel of all ranks and classifications. 

With over 33 years of training and experience, I successfully managed and interacted with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including different levels of rank, personalities, social statuses, races, and religions across the State of California. Much of these interactions occurred in high-pressure situations, including critical incidents and natural disasters.

My extensive experience encompassed engagement with the civilian population, as well as collaboration with local, state, and federal government officials—both elected and appointed. I also worked closely with community-based organizations and within various government agencies throughout my career.
